STEVE LAWSON, CTC
Virtuoso Travel Specialist - Premier Aussie Specialist - Tahiti Tiare Agent - Fiji Maitai Agent - Cook Islands Specialist - New Zealand Kiwi Specialist
As a past General Manager of a luxury hotel on Fort Lauderdale beach I shifted gears and left to found my own travel agency.
I’ve traveled to more than of 150 countries and am still counting!
As a representative on multiple tourism boards - Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, and the Cook Islands - which gives me insight to each destination and cultures. I've also held an advisory board position with Paul Gauguin Cruise Line as well as Islands Magazine.
For me, it’s all about that first-hand knowledge; sometimes I tell people that I specialize in travel “you can’t Google.” I create trips of a lifetime based on knowledge and contacts — especially in
the South Pacific area, but all over the world as well.
I’ve often used the phrase “I am not the same having seen the moon rise on the other side of the world,” and I really do agree with that.
You should do it in the best way possible, and that means relying on people who have the context, contact, and connections — just like you would with your finances. Remember, your most precious time is your free time.
I’d love the opportunity to speak to you about your next trip.

My travel passion is undoubtedly the South Pacific (French Polynesia might be my favorite place on the planet), with India a close runner-up. That said, though, I’ve traveled to over 150 countries. Almost any destination you could come to me with, I have some first-hand knowledge of it!
I can create experiences of a lifetime for you all over the world through my personal connections and contacts with hotels, resorts and tour providers.
I’ve traveled extensively to the Orient, all of Europe, Africa, and the islands of the South Pacific. My home base is Florida (for over 30 years), but I’m originally from Indianapolis.
Sometimes I think the Robert Frost quote “Two roads diverged in wood and I – I took the one less traveled by” explains me pretty well, but here’s something that explains me even better: if you’re looking for a truly “bucket list” vacation contact me.
Although I have a master’s degree in business, I got hooked on travel in the early 1980’s, and as a result, have over 30 years of experience in the travel industry.
Most of my personal travel experience is in the area of soft adventure. I try to encourage clients to travel independently and enjoy the adventure. I am also focusing on encouraging people to see the UNESCO World Heritage sites, as these sites are very special in the world.
Travel is a great source of joy to me and I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge with others. In my home base of New Orleans, people refer to the many cultures and regions of the world we all came from as "gumbo." In other words, over generations our families are all mixed up in one big old cast iron pot and what comes out is delicious!
I specialize in culinary travel and tourism. Anthony Bourdain is not the only world traveler enjoying eating and drinking! I have an expertise in planning wine and foodie-centric trips to regions all over the world where you will be introduced to winery owners, where you can receive a delicious education on a grape varietal you may not have heard of before, take a cooking class from a chef and where you can lay your head in a French chateau in Burgundy, an Italian palazzo in the Veneto or a beautiful winery in Napa Valley.
I like nothing better than to assist you with "laissez-les bon temps roulez!" (Let the Good Times Roll!)
